WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

Community Labs is seeking an experienced Developer Experience Leader to play a pivotal role in driving developer adoption and engagement by creating compelling content, delivering impactful presentations, and building strong relationships within the developer community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, represent developer perspectives, and contribute to the success of our developer-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities and Areas of Focus:

  • Become embedded in the Arweave, ao, and web3 developer communities to deeply understand developer concerns and needs.

  • Manage go-to-market for a suite of developer products, libraries and tooling.

  • Write sample code, build creative new conference talks, make screencasts, make compelling tutorial videos, and write some of the best blog posts web3 has ever seen

  • Write and update development documentation for Community Labs’ developer libraries and protocols.

  • Help other developers and end users by interacting on Discord, Stack Overflow, X, GitHub, or any places where developers come for help online

  • Speak (virtually) at meetup groups, conferences, developer trainings, etc.

  • Host and organize hackathons, meetups, workshops, and other events

  • Identify gaps that are needed to meet the needs of developers, and design creative solutions to meet these needs

  • Identify partnership opportunities and help manage strategic partner relationships.

  • Identify and help recruit talent for Community Labs and protocols. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • 6+ years of experience in developer relations, technical advocacy, or a related role, strongly emphasizing public speaking and content creation.

  • Deep technical expertise in crypto software development, blockchain infrastructure, and related domains, and how they differ from Web2  

  • Proven experience creating engaging technical content, such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos.

  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong network within the developer community and a demonstrated ability to engage and connect with developers.

  • Has demonstrable experience contributing to and advocating for open-source software communities (both code and documentation) or crypto projects

  • Comfortable working in a remote environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Track record of contributing to the success of startups and/or small teams.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing landscape.
