The Arweave Ecosystem is a unique landscape in the world of web3. Our Q3 2023 Arweave Ecosystem Map includes more than 130 projects, each contributing to the 1.28B transactions and counting posted on chain.
Growth
Our snapshot of the ecosystem includes over 30 new teams since the last ecosystem map created at the end of 2022 by Warp. Within this narrative of growth, Community Labs is proud to have added Othent, ArweaveKit, and ArConnect 1.0 to the list in 2023. Over the past 8 months, the addition of projects like Bazar, Permaweb Cookbook, WeaveDB, and Weavers have collectively aimed to elevate user experience and broaden the accessible use cases of permanent storage. The shared data layer of Arweave results in each new project compounding the potential of the others, contributing to community incentive alignment and composability. In other words, projects on Arweave fit together like building blocks, which enables new types of use cases that were previously impossible to explore, like the web of value.
Growth is not only reflected in the number of new projects, but also through ecosystem activity. Month after month, we’ve continued seeing all-time-highs in transaction counts.
Community Labs Integrations
Our objective is to partner with founders looking to build on the frontier of deep tech with permanent data storage. We build products and protocols that allow users to seamlessly access and interact with the permaweb. So far, our products are being used by over 40 teams in the ecosystem.
Ecosystem Diversity
The project categories in Arweave form a landscape that looks wildly different when compared to other ecosystems like Bitcoin or Ethereum. Projects spanning news and publishing, social, education, tooling and infrastructure, storage, accounts, DeFi, analytics, NFTs, and ecosystem groups collectively contribute to the data stored on Arweave, and form the seeds of the first composable web. This composability offers a new and unique environment for both builders and users leveraging permanent storage.
